Bello eyeing jobs for Filipino workers in Russia

The Department of Labor and Employment is looking into the labor market regulations in Russia in preparation for the deployment of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) there.

“There is a demand for construction and household service workers in Russia,” Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III said.

Bello has created a technical working group to help formulate an agreement for possible deployment of OFWs to Russia. —Tina G. Santos
