The Philippine Coast Guard in Tawi-Tawi on Tuesday helped rescue a Chinese crew member suffering a medical emergency at sea.

Chinese crewman Zheng Le was suffering an epilepsy attack while cargo vessel MV China Peace was transiting the waters near Laparan Island in Pangutaran, Sulu, the Coast Guard said in a statement Tuesday.
