ZAMBOANGA CITY – Police authorities in Dipolog City said they were seeking a British national, who reportedly hit the manager of a local hotel and left without paying his bill on Sunday.

Senior Superintendent Raul Tacaca, the Zamboanga del Norte police chief, identified the British national as Stephen Daubney, who listed his temporary address as near the Caltex gas station in Tampilisan town.

Tacaca said Mario Romano, the manager of D’Hotel and Suites, claimed that Daubney hit him on the face and left without paying his bill of P2,825.

“The complainant, Romano, already filed a case against the suspect,” Tacaca said.
