Filipina being mauled in Iraq uses Facebook Live to call for help

Alice Soriano Aguilan, a Filipino domestic helper in Iraq, was mauled by an Arab man Friday who wanted her to do so many things all at the same time.


But Aguilan had a potent weapon–Facebook Live, which she used to fight back and call for help.

Viewers of her live broadcast relayed her tearful plea to the officials of the Philippine Embassy in Iraq. And within minutes, Aguilan was successfully rescued.
