Malaysian toddler falls off stairs at NAIA

(Updated 3:43 p.m.) A five-year-old Malaysian child was injured after falling off the stairs of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) terminal 1 on Wednesday.

According to a news report by Inquirer Radyo, the child, identified as Muhammad Alif Bin Azizan, fell at the east concourse of the terminal 1’s arrival area at about 8:22 a.m.

Airport Ramp Clinic personnel immediately responded to the accident and transferred the child, accompanied by his father, to the San Juan de Dios Hospital at 8:51 a.m. after implementing first aid procedures.

Azizan obtained slight physical injuries such as minor cuts on his upper and lower lip, and bruises on his chin and forehead.
