Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in the country on Sunday to participate in the 31st Association of Southeast Nations (Asean) Summit and Related Meetings in Manila.
Modi’s plane landed on Sunday afternoon at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) in Pasay City.
The prime minister was welcomed by Presidential Communications Operations Office Secretary Martin Andanar, Malacañang said.
India is one of the 21 regional and world leaders to attend the regional bloc summit and is one of the dialogue partners of the Asean. /je
