UN chief Antonio Guterres arrives in Manila for Asean meet

United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres arrived Sunday morning at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia).

Guterres is in the country to attend the 31st Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) Summit.

He arrived via Cathay Pacific at the Naia Terminal 3 at 10:36 a.m.

The UN chief was welcomed by Philippine Ambassador to the UN Teodoro Locsin Jr. and Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque. /je
