President Rodrigo Duterte returned shortly past midnight Sunday in Manila after attending the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (Apec) leaders summit in Vietnam.
Duterte arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport at around 12:15 a.m. aboard Philippine Airlines Flight PR001.
His arrival came just hours before the Philippines hosts the 31st Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) Summit where regional and world leaders are expected to attend. /atm
