Twenty one heads of states will attend the 31st Association of Southeast Asian (Asean) Summit in November in Manila, Ambassador Marciano Paynor said Tuesday.
Paynor, head of the Asean National Organizing Committee (NOC), said the United Nations Secretary General António Guterres would also attend the summit.
World leaders who are expected to attend include United States President Donald Trump, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
Paynor said at least four countries have requested for a bilateral meeting with President Rodrigo Duterte.
He said arrival of the leaders and other diplomats and officials would be in Clark on November 10.
The 31st Asean Summit and Related Meetings will be held in Manila. /je
