The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has barred from entering the country a Malaysian national who attempted to enter the country using fake travel documents.
Immigration Spokesperson Ma. Antonette Mangrobang said in a text message that Peter Daniel Lim has been included in the Immigration’s watch list. He was intercepted at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) terminal 3 last Saturday.
Mangrobang said Lim was immediately deported to his country.
“He said he was forced to hide his real identity because he is wanted in Malaysia for estafa after he reneged on paying 4th e-car loan of a friend he had guaranteed,” Mangrobang said.
Lim was using a passport with the name Arry Bin Jong, a 37-year-old.
BI Port operations division chief Marc Red Marias said Lim raised the suspicion of Immigration officers because his facial appearance did not match the picture in the biopage of the the passport he presented.
