IN PHOTOS: PH, US soldiers bring care, cheer to Casiguran residents

As Philippine and American troops trained for the aftermath of a supertyphoon that could hit Casiguran town in Aurora province, residents were also treated to a medical mission and some entertainment.

Military and medical doctors, as well as dentists and volunteers ferried by Philippine and US sea and air assets for the disaster response joint drills, conducted a medical and dental mission at the Dibacong Elementary School on Monday for some of the residents.

A film showing, gift-giving of school supplies  and goodwill games were also held.

Residents were also taught basic first aid, health and safety management, expedient water collection and purification, and other topics related to calamities.
