Philippines-Saudi Arabia sign deals

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — President Rodrigo Duterte and Saudi Arabian King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Daud on Tuesday witnessed the ceremonial signing of some agreements between the Philippines and Saudi Arabia.

Two agreements, signed by Foreign Affairs Enrique Manalo and Saudi Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir pertains to the establishment of mechanism or procedure for the conduct of foreign affairs consultation between the two countries; and for cooperation between Philippines and Saudi foreign institutes and diplomatic academies to enable the two countries to operate a foreign service institute.

Al-Jubeir also separately met with Duterte, during which, they reviewed bilateral relations and discussed the latest developments in the region, according to a dispatch of the official Saudi Press Agency.
