BI orders deportation of 2 ISIS suspects
The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has already ordered the deportation of the two foreign nationals believed to be members of the terrorist group Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
In two separate deportation orders issued Tuesday, the BI approved the deportation of Syrian national Rahman Zina and Kuwaiti national Husayn Al-Dhafiri.
The two were arrested at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig last March 25. From Taguig, they were transferred to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and eventually to the military.
The BI, in the separate orders approved by the Board of Commissioners led by Jaime Morente, said that the two are threat to public safety.
Both orders also included the Syrian’s name on the bureau’s blacklist as undocumented/undesirable and cancellation of Al-Dhafiri’s work visa.
