Milo best in Cebu on May 16

THE BASKETBALL Efficiency and Scientific Training (BEST) Center sponsored by Milo will be back in Cebu as it stages its annual clinic at the Sacred Heart School gym along Mango Avenue starting on May 16 until the 21st.

The Best Center, which was elevated to the Hall of Fame of the Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA), is part of Milo’s Summer Sports Program. Another major activity of The Best Center that serves as a follow-through partner of the clinics is the nationwide Milo Best basketball tournament, the country’s longest-running nationwide tournament for under-15 and under 12 school-based teams. This will kick off in July.

Run by Nic Jorge, the BEST Center teaches players the fundamentals of the sport and develop character and values such as discipline, sportsmanship, and camaraderie through their interaction with coaches, instructors and peers. Clinic time periods will be either from 8 a.m.-12 noon or 1-5 p.m., depending on which level one is enrolled. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
