WATCH: Duterte joins Najib in singing ‘Shalala lala’

PUTRAJAYA, Malaysia — It’s also more fun in Malaysia for President Rodrigo Duterte.

During the special dinner held for the President on Thursday night at the Prime Minister’s house, Duterte and Prime Minister Najib Razak were seen singing the classic pop song “Shalala lala.”

The audience readily cheered the two Asian leaders as they sang together onstage.

A video posted by Presidential adviser on the peace process Jesus Dureza on his Facebook account showed Najib singing the classic song while he was dancing to the groove of the music. Duterte, who was wearing a Barong Tagalog, joined him in the singing.

Before their performance, Duterte also sang Bette Midler’s “Wind Beneath My Wings.”

The dinner happened hours after the two held a bilateral meeting to strengthen the ties between the two countries. CDG
