A 79-year-old Filipino-American citizen was nabbed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) on Tuesday morning for possession of bullets, Radyo Inquirer 990AM reported.
The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) identified the man as a certain Rondaris Rufino, who possessed a small box containing 36 bullets.
MIAA said Rufino could not explain why he has ammunition.
The Filipino-American, who is bound for Laoag City from the United States, was not allowed to leave the airport pending investigation by the police’s Aviation Security Group. YG/RAM/rga
