Vietnam to deliver rice to PH starting April

MANILA, Philippines—Vietnam will deliver 200,000 metric tons of rice to the Philippines for the next three months starting in April, the National Food Authority said Wednesday.

NFA administrator Angelito Banayo said the Philippines got a good price from the Vietnamese government.

Banayo said the NFA will buy 200,000 metric tons of rice from Vietnam at $480 per ton.
