MANILA, Philippines – Senate President Juan Ponce-Enrile ordered three foreigners thrown out from the Senate Thursday after they started preaching to him about God as he was being interviewed by the media.

Enrile was caught by surprise when the female foreigner, who claims to be from Thailand, interrupted his interview with the media.

“What is God going to do with a city full of sinners?” the foreigner asked Enrile and went on preaching to the Senate leader.

“From the land of God,” said the foreigner.

An irked Enrile repeated his question and the foreigner answered, “From Thailand.”

And then the foreigner started reading the bible she was carrying, which prompted Enrile to order her out of the Sumulong room where he was being interviewed.

“Take her out! Take her out,” said Enrile.

At that point, the foreigner was joined by two others, also said to be Thai nationals, as she was being escorted out of the room.

Reporters even heard one of the companions shouting, “God is coming to punish the sinners.”
