HANOI – President Duterte arrived in Hanoi, Vietnam on Wednesday afternoon for a two-day official visit to the nation’s capital.
The Philippine Airlines airplane carrying Duterte and his official delegation touched down at the Noi Bai International Airport at around 3:48 pm.
The President wore a barong over pants as he descended down the red carpet and shook hands with the officials waiting to greet him.
For his first official activity, Duterte is expected to meet the members of the Filipino community tonight in Hanoi at the Intercontinental Hotel in Hanoi. JE
