MANILA — Eight flights, including two international, were cancelled on Tuesday, because of rains brought by the enhanced habagat (southwest monsoon).
According to the Manila International Airport Authority, two international flights of the Cathay Pacific and four domestic Philippine Airlines (PAL) Express and Cebu Pacific flights were grounded by bad weather.
Among THE cancelled flights as of 2 p.m. Tuesday were: Cathay Pacific Manila-Hong Kong-Manila flights CX 906 and CX 907; PAL Express Manila-Caticlan-Manila flights 2P 2057, 2P 2058, 2P 2059, and 2P 2060; as well as Cebu Pacific Manila-San Jose, Occidental Mindoro-Manila flights 5J 513 and 5J 514.
Passengers affected by the flight cancellations may be accommodated in the next available flights without additional charges. Those unable to avail of this option also have the alternative of rebooking their flights for travel within 30 days from the original departure date or get a full refund.
