Fil-Am soul singer, songwriter begins California tour
SAN JOSE, California – A Filipina American singer-songwriter is launching her California tour at the end of June, performing in at least 11 venues on the West Coast.
Tracy Cruz will be performing songs from previous two albums “Universoul Symphony” and “Feel’osophy,” and her EP “Illuminate Love” during her “SOULshine Tour.” Cruz will also be performing tracks fro her second EP, “Heartifacts,” which will be released by early spring next year.
“I named my tour SOULShine because I’m performing soul music, and when I sing from my heart, I believe I am radiating my light into the world. A light of healing, love, unity, and joy into the world,” Cruz explained.
Cruz’s set list encompasses rhythms and sounds similar to the likes of The Roots, Robert Glasper, Floetry, and Jill Scott. Her show filled with soul, jazz, R&B, with tones of hip-hop mixed in.
Audiences can expect to be transported into a heartfelt, expressive experience with eclectic sounds and lyrics written by Tracy herself.
