Public invited to showing of AARP film on caregiving

SAN FRANCISCO — The 3AF’s 2016 Marketer of the Year, AARP, invites all 3AF members and friends to a documentary film screening focusing on the importance of caregivers.

The event will be held on June 21 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the University of San Francisco in Fromm Hall, Xavier Auditorium, 2497 Golden Gate Avenue.

AARP’s new documentary “Caregiving: The Circle of Love” presents the traditions and challenges of caregiving in the Chinese American community from the point of view of the three family caregivers, including MSNBC News Anchor Richard Lui.

Filmed by San Francisco-based Executive Producer Toan Lam, the 14-minute film was created by AARP to help families start the difficult but vital conversation about caregiving.

The event is free and open to everyone.
