Man in Baltimore nabbed for buying child porn from PH
SAN FRANCISCO — A Baltimore, Maryland man was charged with trafficking in child pornography after he was discovered allegedly paying women in the Philippines to send him images of girls engaged in sexual acts.
Federal authorities charged Louis Francis Bradley, 65, of Baltimore with distribution, receipt and possession of child pornography. If convicted, Bradley could face five to 40 years in prison for distribution and receipt of child pornography, and up to 20 years for possession.
Federal prosecutors allege that Bradley contacted women in the Philippines over the Internet and paid them to send images of young girls engaged in sexually explicit acts.
The criminal complaint alleges the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received a tip that eight images had been uploaded to a Google+ Photos account linked to Bradley.
Armed with search warrants on Bradley’s social media and email accounts, investigators found Facebook conversations with the women in the Philippines from whom he was buying the images. They also allege he sent child pornography to at least one woman there.
