Cops probing Filipino’s Christmas Eve death in Vallejo, Calif.

SAN FRANCISCO — Law enforcement authorities are looking into the suspicious death of a Filipino male resident of Fairfield, California, who was found dead in Vallejo on Thursday, Christmas Eve, according to a Solano County Sheriff’s Office press release.

Deputies were sent to help the California Highway Patrol near Lynch Canyon Road, where deputies found the lifeless body of Rebart Ordonio, 53, who was later pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.

Ordonio had been driving a black Chevy Camaro with silver racing stripes, which CHP officers found unattended in the median of westbound Interstate 80 near American Canyon. The coroner has not yet determined the cause of death as off press time, according to a report by the Fairfield Daily Republic.

Authorities are asking the public to provide information, as someone may have seen either the black Camaro or Ordonio in the area due to the heavy Christmas Eve traffic.
