ACCORDING to the latest stock estimate from the Commission on Filipinos Overseas, there are more than 42,000 Filipinos in Spain. This figure is composed of 32,226 permanent migrants, 6,688 temporary migrants whose stay overseas is employment-related, and 3,890 irregular Filipinos who are not properly documented.
