Korean found dead inside Pasay condo unit

MANILA, Philippines — A 33-year-old Korean businessman was found dead in his condominium unit in Pasay early Sunday.

Senior Supt. Joel Doria, the city’s chief of police, identified the victim as Kim Choel Gyu.

Analyn Petaca, 29, told the police she found her live-in partner’s lifeless body hanging from a cabinet handle with an extension cord around his neck in his unit in Tower C of Antel Seaview Tower Condominium on Roxas Boulevard around 5 a.m.

Petaca said prior to her discovery of the body, she had to call a locksmith to gain access to his unit since nobody answered from inside despite her repeated knocks.
