PANGLAO, Bohol—An American wanted for sexual assault in Arkansas, USA was arrested on Panglao Island in Bohol province Saturday.
Brent Allen Reeves, 45, who hails from Arkansas was arrested at the market place in Barangay Poblacion in Panglao town by agents from the U.S. Embassy, two immigration officers and the Panglao police officers led by Senior Inspector Joemar Pomarejos.
They arrested Reeves on the strength of the warrant for sexual assault and for violation of Philippine immigration laws.
The authorities in Pulaski County in the State of Arkansas said Reeves was arrested for sexual assault against a juvenile and did not show up in circuit court.  He has two active warrants, including felony failure to appear on sexual assault charges and a failure to appear on traffic charge.

Reeves had been transferring residences from Little Rock in Arkansas, Manila and Cebu, and recently in Panglao town. He is allegedly using aliases such as Kenneth Alan Rounsaval and Charlie Lilly.
Reeves was brought to the municipal health office for medical examination and placed in custody at the Panglao police station.
According to Superintendent Nicomedes Olayvar, head of the Provincial Public Safety Company at the Bohol Provincial Police Office, Reeves didn’t resist when officers arrested him.
“He is still at the Panglao police station for booking and investigative requirements,” Olayvar said.
Reeves is scheduled to be brought back to Manila on Monday where deportation proceedings are now in progress to repatriate him back to the US. TVJ
