Free Q&A session on hip, knee replacement at Alta Bates

BERKELEY, California — A free question-an-answer session on hip or knee replacements is being hosted by Alta Bates Summit Medical Center’s Orthopedic Specialist George Pugh, M.D., on Tuesday, August 11, at 1 to 2:30 p.m. in Herrick Campus Maffly Auditorium, 2001 Dwight Way, Berkeley.

Dr. Pugh will answer questions regarding to tell if a hip or knee replacement might be right for an individual. He can discuss the risks and benefits, as well as what is new in joint replacement surgery.
