LOS ANGELES – An organization of Filipino American professional  photographers in Southern California will commemorate Philippine Independence Day with a photo exhibit of images of Filipino Americans in various professions, expertise and engagements.

Members of the Frontliners Media Group (FMG) will exhibit “Pinoy sa Amerika,” which opens June 8, 6:30 p.m. at the Cerritos Main Library at 18025 Bloomfield Avenue. The exhibit will last until June 20.

“The exhibit represents a small sample of Filipino Americans in their differing fields of work in the United States. More exhibits depicting more images are scheduled in the future,” according to Jay Fermin of FMG.   The exhibit showcases sets of 16″x20″ photographs.

FMG is composed of media photographers, videographers and writers most of whom work for media outfits.
