AN overseas Filipino worker (OFW) recently died in Dubai in hit-and-run incident, the Dubai Police said.
A report from the Khaleej Times reported that a still unidentified Filipino woman in her 20s was killed in Al Maktoum after she was hit by a vehicle.
The report said the Filipina was on her way home after work when she met the accident.
It said there were no witnesses during the incident but police “found a car that had blood traces and a dent on its fender.”
The police summoned the driver, who was a Syrian, who admitted that he went over speeding but said he was not aware that he hit a woman. NC
