Vista Land USA vows to make buying property in PH ‘safe and easy’

SAN FRANCISCO — A new kid on the block has joined the ranks of Philippine property marketers in the United States, offering a “unique,” one-stop concept in property investing in the Philippines.

Vista Land USA, the exclusive marketing company for Philippine-based Vista Land & Lifescapes Inc., hosted a special launching March 18 at the Philippine Center to present Filipino-Americans a “safe, transparent and efficient” full-service option for buying condominiums and residences in the Philippines.

The firm represents 250 real estate developments initiated by former senator and self-made billionaire Manny Villar, ranging from high and mid-rise condominiums to single-family home communities. The property brands include Brittany, Crown Asia, Vista Residences and Camella.

Nicholas Laureano, Vista Land USA chairman and CEO, explained that the biggest fear of overseas Filipino investors in Philippine property is that of being scammed, and many overseas investors have been “traumatized” by such experience.

“Just taking somebody’s money is not the right way to do business,” he said. “We make sure that your investment is safe and accounted for and you’re happy with it. We cater to Filipino American values and concerns and the pace of our busy lives here.”

That’s why, Laureano said, “We provide a full service,” facilitating everything needed to acquire property in the Philippines, “from getting a loan to managing and leasing your property for profit afterwards,” following both US and Philippine legal requirements.

“All our representatives are local,” Laureano added. “They are based in your city or nearby. You can call them for all questions about the status of your investment.” The company is launching offices in California, Nevada and Arizona.

“Every transaction is local,” stressed Bong Gutierrez, president and chief operating officer, who used to be Ayala Land’s country manager. “We provide all the paperwork and documents, there’s no need to run after or call anyone in the Philippines to facilitate processing. Everything’s done here.”

Nova Noval head of Vista Land’s international marketing declared that now is the best time to invest in property in the Philippines at affordable prices: “The economy is going great. With a projected growth rate of more than six percent, we are now the second fastest growing economy in the world.”

Vista Land USA’s officers firmly claimed that it is the only US marketer that provides a full service, one-stop shop for buying Philippine properties.

“It’s buying affordable Philippine properties the US way,” quipped Lilibeth Estrella, Vista Land USA head of marketing and administration.
