Somali found dead in Malabon City apartment; kidney ailment cited

MANILA, Philippines – A 60-year-old Somali was found dead on Tuesday in Malabon City.

The victim Abdulahhi Mamun, a contractual gardener of the Department of Agriculture, was discovered lifeless inside his apartment on Yellow Bell street, Araneta Village in Potrero, case investigators said.

The village’s security guard Lester Babao opened Mamun’s room and found him dead at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

Mamun’s body was in advanced stage of decay, according to a report.

Police learned that the victim was suffering from a kidney ailment. But they are still investigating his death. SFM
