MANILA, Philippines—The US Embassy has announced it will be closed for six days during the holidays.
“The Embassy of the United States in Manila and its affiliated offices will be closed to the public on Dec. 25, in observance of Christmas Day, and on Dec. 26, in observance of a special nonworking holiday,” the embassy said in a statement.
Likewise, the embassy will be closed on Dec. 30, in observance of Rizal Day, as well as on Dec. 31, the last day of the year, a special nonworking day.
It will also be closed on Jan. 1, the first day of the new year, and on Jan. 2, an additional special nonworking day.
It will resume regular services on Jan. 5. Niña P. Calleja
