Missing Fil-Am Aubrey Andrews.

SACRAMENTO, California — A woman’s body was found inside the car belonging to a missing and pregnant Filipino American mother.

Police did not confirm Tuesday, December 16 if the dead woman inside the car is Aubrey Andrews, 20, who has been missing for more than a week, according to a report by the Sacramento Bee.

The car was found in a parking lot about four miles from Andrew’s home in the 5900 block of Jacinto Avenue.

There was no obvious sign of foul play, according to Sacramento police. Police were still treating Andrews’ disappearance as a missing person case, the Bee reported

Andrews, who is nine months pregnant, was last seen alive about 10 p.m. December 6 near her home. Andrews, 20, was reportedly distraught when she drove away from her home in a white Toyota Prius.

Family and friends in Sacramento told the Bee that her disappearance was unusual and told police that she may have traveled to Southern California where she has friends.

Andrews filed for divorce from her husband, Edward Andrews, in May. However, the couple did not appear for court-ordered mediation. The two were reportedly living separately.

A temporary restraining order banned Edward Andrews from engaging in online abuse of his wife after a complaint of domestic violence was lodged against him one year ago.
