MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Foreign Affairs is expected Tuesday night to serve the arrest order on US Private First Class Joseph Scott Pemberton to US embassy officials.
According to DFA spokesperson and Assistant Secretary Charles Jose, the DFA will send two letters — through the DFA American Affairs Office — transmitting Pemberton’s arrest order and demanding for his custody.
As of Tuesday evening, US embassy officials were at the DFA waiting for the note verbale.
