MANILA, Philippines–Nursing graduates in the Philippines were warned by the Australian government about e-mail scams offering job opportunities, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said on Thursday.

The DFA said the Ministry of Health of the State of New South Wales (NSW) had issued a statement “warning nursing graduates in the Philippines of e-mails purportedly coming from nursing directs of St. Vincent’s Hospital and Liverpool Hospital in New South Wales offering false employment opportunities with requests for payments.”
