MANILA, Philippines—The German fiancé of slain Filipino transgender Jeffrey “Jennifer” Laude will leave the country on Saturday, Nov. 1, after the Bureau of Immigration granted his request for voluntary deportation, lawyer Harry Roque said Friday.

Marc Sueselbeck will leave the country for Frankfurt, Germany via China Airlines.

Roque, in a text message said Sueselbeck will hold a press conference at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 before his departure.

As a consequence of his voluntary deportation, the Bureau of Immigration has included Sueselbeck in the black list and he will no longer be allowed to return to the Philippines.

Sueselbeck requested for a voluntary deportation for fear that he might lose his job in Germany. He was given by his employer until Nov. 3 to return to work.
