What began as a search for the country’s most entertaining acts a few years ago has become a hit variety program for Filipinos in the Philippines and abroad.
“It’s Showtime” keeps churning out popular catchphrases and gimmicks, draws people and barangays or townsfolk together to showcase their talents, and finds thrill and joy in the most mundane situations.
