MANILA, Philippines – The United States Embassy in the Philippines will be closed on September 1 in observance of the American Labor day holiday.
“The Embassy of the United States in Manila and its affiliated offices will be closed to the public on Monday, September 1, in observance of Labor Day, an American holiday,” the embassy said in an advisory Friday.
“The Embassy and its affiliated offices will resume their regular services on Tuesday, September 2,” it said.
The Philippines and many other countries around the world celebrate Labor Day on May 1 following the International Labor Day.
