South Korea donates military watercraft, computers to PH
MANILA, Philippines– The government of South Korea has donated a military watercraft, rubber boats and computers to the Philippine government over the weekend.
“They donated a landing craft utility, 16 rubber boats and computer units,” Defense Secretary Voltaire Gazmin said in a text message to reporters on Tuesday.
Gazmin visited South Korea over the weekend for bilateral talks with his counterpart on humanitarian assistance and disaster response.
South Korea, an ally of the Philippines, also sent hundreds of its soldiers last year to help in the rehabilitation efforts in Central Visayas in the aftermath of Super Typhoon “Yolanda” (Haiyan).
