Nomination deadline nears for 100 Most Influential Women search

SAN FRANCISCO, California—Nominations are now open for the 100 Most Influential Women in the World Award™ (Global FWN100™), a working award for outstanding women of Philippine ancestry who are asked to “FEMtor” a young Filipina woman, to help develop next-generation leaders.

Filipina Women’s Network started the regular worldwide search in 2006, honoring Filipina women doing meaningful work in their communities and organizations.

The Global FWN100™ awards gather Filipina women who have risen to the most influential and/or highest positions in the public and private sectors in Africa, North America, South America, Asia, Australia, Antarctica and Europe.

Those qualified to be on this list, or know of a Filipina woman who deserves to be named one of the 100 Most Influential Filipina Women in the World™, must submit the nominations before May 31. Online submissions only – go to https://summit.filipinawomensnetwork.org/nominate/

The Global FWN100™ awardees will be profiled in a special issue of the FWN Magazine, and honored at a Gala Awards Celebration at the 11th Filipina Leadership Global Summit on October 5-8, at the Makati Shangri-La, Manila, Philippines.

To be considered for the Most Influential Filipina Women in the World Award™ (Global FWN100™), entries must be received before May 31. Qualified candidates will be evaluated based on the size and scope of their positions, influence in their industries and the community, board affiliations and other leadership roles.
