Cunanan has been accepted provisionally to the government’s Witness Protection Program (WPP).

However, his status has been put in jeopardy after witness Benhur Luy revealed that Cunanan also received kickbacks.

Luy, said that Cunanan received P960,000 commission from Janet Lim-Napoles after using his agency as one of the conduits of Napoles’ deals with lawmakers.

Cunanan has denied Luy’s allegation during a senate hearing and insisted he did not benefit from any transactions related to the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF).
