Chinese woman found dead in Batangas

BATANGAS CITY, Philippines—A Chinese woman was found dead, apparently from stab wounds on the chest, in her bedroom in Lipa City, Batangas, early Wednesday, police said.

Inspector Mary Torres, Batangas police information officer, said Chen Yi’s body was discovered by her mother at 3:30 a.m. in her residence at Village 8.

Torres said the Lipa police was looking for an interpreter to assist investigators.
