Poland’s Foreign Affairs minister set to visit PH

Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski is set to visit the Philippines from September 3 to 5, which coincides with the ongoing celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Poland.

MANILA, Philippines — Polish Foreign Affairs Minister Radosław Sikorski is set to visit the Philippines from September 3 to 5, which coincides with the ongoing celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Poland.

The visit is part of Sikorski’s official travels to Southeast Asia.

He will meet his Philippine counterpart, Foreign Affairs Secretary Enrique Manalo, to talk about ways to further strengthen the Philippines-Poland relations.

The two foreign affairs officials will also exchange views on regional and international issues and meet with other high-level officials of the Philippine government.

This will be the first stand-alone visit to the Philippines of a Polish Foreign Minister.

Sikorski went to the Philippines in 2006 as Defense minister.
