Suspected shabu laboratory in Sarangani busted

MANILA, Philippines — A suspected crystal meth (shabu) laboratory in Sarangani province allegedly run by a Chinese national was dismantled over the weekend.

Authorities raided a warehouse in a camp claimed by the Moro Islamic Liberation Front in Sitio Sagel, Barangay Pinol in Maitum town at 8:30 a.m. on August 4, the Police Regional Office 12 said on Monday.

They found equipment used for large-scale crystal meth production, the police added.
