He missed her courtesy call during her trip to Manila last November, but President Aquino made it up to International Monetary Fund (IMF) managing director Christine Lagarde on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum here.

The Philippines is the only country in the world for which the International Monetary Fund has upgraded its economic growth forecast for 2012, according to visiting IMF managing director Christine Lagarde.
