NEW YORK, United States?Lanterns from San Fernando, Pampanga took center stage here, as Ambassador Hilario Davide Jr., Philippine Permanent Representative to the United Nations, and Consul General Cecilia Rebong led the ceremonial lighting at the Philippine Center on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan on December 23.

The lanterns will be on display until the end of January. The project is a joint effort of the Philippine Mission to the United Nations, the Philippine Consulate General in New York, the City Government of San Fernando, Pampanga, the Subic-Clark Alliance for Development Council, the Clark International Airport Corporation, and UPS.
