MANILA, Philippines – The National Capital Region Police Office has increased the reward offer for anyone who could provide information that would lead to the arrest of an American who has been tagged as responsible for the death of the son of a Malacañang official over a traffic altercation.
NCRPO spokesman Superintendent Rommel Miranda said Director Roberto Rosales increased the reward from P200,000 to P500,000 “for any information that will lead to the arrest of Ivler, the principal suspect in the shooting to death of Renato Victor Ebarle Jr. last November 18.”
Ivler is Jason Ivler, the principal suspect in the killing of Ebarle, the son of Undersecretary Renato Ebarle Sr. of the Office of the Presidential Chief of Staff.
An arrest warrant has been issued against Ivler.
