MAWIN?S Kitchen of team owners Sherwin Lequit and Maia Adriatico tripped Victor Village Residents Association (VVRA), 73-68, Sunday night for its 3rd win in 4 outings in the Mawin's Kitchen & JS Contractor's Cup-2010 summer basketball tournament at the Vicente Sotto Memorial gym.
VVRA led in the opening period, 23-20 with Neptune Carungay draining 13 of his 20 points in that stretch before Mawin?s caught up at the half, 33-33 and 53-all at the end of the 3rd quarter.
However, Mawin?s outscored VVRA in the fourth, 20-15 for the five-point victory.
Earlier, Panther routed Jacpat Shee, 65-40 for its 2nd win in four games (2-2) , while the latter fell to l-3.
Gobs Baclaan had 18 points for Panther, while Dondon Padigos and Jet Iyana paced Jacpat Shee with 11 points each.
