COBRA ENERGY Drink and Excelroof will be trying to crowd the race for the semifinals when they face off against separate opponents today in the continuation of the 2010 PBL PG Flex Erase Placenta Cup at the Arena in San Juan City.
The Cobra Ironmen collide with the Ascof Lagundi Cough Busters at 4 p.m. while the Excelroof 25ers battle the the Fern-C Ferntastics at 2 p.m. with both teams seeking to tie red-hot Pharex B-Complex and Cossack Blue for the lead.
Victories by both Excelroof and Cobra will create a four-way tie for the lead with Pharex and Cossack at 4-1 (win-loss).
The four teams after the single round elims will advance to the semis with the top two placers earning a twice-to-beat privilege in the Final Four.
